The Holy Loch Coffee Shop in Sandbank near Dunoon was started by Kay and John Orr a few years back to nourish the sailors who were keeping their boats at the newly opened Holy Loch Marina. Word soon got round !

Inexpensive and informal the café is popular with local folk coming out from Dunoon for lunch, and with visitors exploring and holidaying in the Cowal area. Tourists and cyclists on their way to Oban and the west coast or perhaps heading north to Fort William also find the Holy Loch Coffee Shop a convenient stop off for a coffee or lunch.
The café welcomes families, holiday makers and is open 7 days for passing trade all year round. Most things on the menu can be ordered for takeaway if you are in a rush or just fancy a family picnic on a sunny day out in Dunoon.

Scottish Milk comes from Grahams Dairies in Stirling.
Our coffee is roasted in Glasgow by a top company called Matthew Algie. Rain Forest Alliance certified, Organic and Fairtrade.
Traybakes are bought in from Glasgow.
We stock organic Scottish shortbread and gluten free biscuits.
Wee tubs of Ice Cream made by leading scottish maker Mackies are delivered all the way from Aberdeen to the Holy Loch.
Soups are made using gluten free stocks and vegetarian stock is always used in vegetable soups.
